Well, being a person that really hates Christmas (Since I’m in retail, I see everyone buying things and what not) and how consumerist it makes everyone. I shouldn’t be celebrating Christmas, and not accepting gifts, but I’m a spoiled fuck. I like getting free stuff.

I’ve been out of school for awhile now for the break. I did fine on my finals. No Cs for once. Being off is okay but I’ve been working a lot. The past week has been hell. Having to get up at 6 in the morning and leaving at 2, but I was the one that asked for the extra hours. So, I guess I have no one to blame but myself. Next week isn’t any better since after Christmas that week it’s 7-3 for four straight days. Well, least it isn’t as early as last year.

It’s been rough because I’ve been getting up drink a cup of coffee, go to work, eat nothing and just drink more coffee on my lunch break. When I get home I go to sleep only to wake up later the next day. So, I’ve turned into more of a nocturnal thing as of late.

I’ve been trying to clean up my room and throw away old stuff I don’t need anymore which isn’t very much. I took out my VCR since I don’t really watch tapes and I took on my stereo since I use my computer anyway. I hooked up my SNES, and I was a little afraid it wasn’t working at first but it seems to work fine. It’s ready for when I get Chrono Trigger. I’m not getting Robotrek because it turns out the seller sold it 3 months ago. Least my money was refunded.

Beat FF12. I was sick of doing all the side shit. I figured doing all the hunts and getting some of the espers was enough. I was way over powered as it is, and the game just wasn’t fun. I really thought FF12 would be the next FF10 for me. FF10 was fun playing over the christmas break that one year. I did absolutely everything and it was enjoyable. Oh well, the ending was okay. The characters probably shined more during the ending than anywhere else, which isn’t very good. 12 isn’t great but it isn’t bad but it isn’t a must play either. The characters had no real development, the plot was too subtle for me to pick up on it, and it was too much of a single player MMORPG right down to random chests, random rare spawns and farming loot to get overpowered weapons which you really don’t need anyway. I kinda want my 146+ hours I spent playing it back.

Trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with myself.

Uh, well finals are ovar. I think they went… okay. Maybe.

Well, I’ll worry about the grades when I see them. I guess. I don’t think I horribly failed them. Moar liek just barely passed. Especially on the Political Thought. dot dot dot.

I didn’t study for my poetry final because I was playing Wc3 with Erik and co last night. Oh well, I have an A in that class and the final seemed easy.

For Christmas, I want to get anime 2 figures, and update my posters mainly. No import games this time. I want to buy books and hopefully read a lot over the break.

Still, on the other hand, I really don’t want to use money on anime merchandise because I really don’t need the stuff. I’m really 50/50 here. Otakon was the last time I used a ton of money on anime.

I need to buy a feather duster for my figures. They’re all dusty.

Oh, who am I kidding? I’ll probably buy a lot of things last minute. Hobbylink Japan DOES have a lot of cool things.

Sometimes I wonder if I should even participate in group discussions in Political Thought. My opinions seem to be disregarded and just jumped over. Also, I’m not good with articulating my opinions in speech, I guess.

I think I made some good points that we all don’t want suffering and we want happiness. That volunteer work by helping the poor and such isn’t a moral obligation because there are many ways of helping out other people. Even just those around us. Also, if someone can’t muster up to try and relieve suffering from others that person should at least refrain from inflicting pain/suffering on another.
