Contemporary Poetry Sucks
February 26, 2007
Today, I learned that I hate contemporary poetry.
I just came out of a one on one meeting with my teacher for this creative writing class I’m taking this semester.
I guess contemporary poetry is more about things you can touch which is boring. I want to write about big things like running after courage and places of memories. BURNING STUFF that Japanese pop music is about.
Blah. Oh well, I suppose I’ll have to conform so I can pass the class, but still.

Just a pointless post
February 15, 2007
This is just something to get my mind off things and just because I’m bored.
I had two essay tests today, and I feel kind of bad that I skipped my first class today.
I sent him an e-mail saying that I might be late due to a doctor’s appointment which was true but it was then cancelled and I still didn’t go, and I only said I would be late assuming that I would then come. Though I needed the extra time to study, and it worked out for me so I shouldn’t feel too bad.
My first test was Central Europe. It wasn’t that bad, and I literally poured everything I possibly knew out on the page even though looking back at my notes I missed some things, forgot to add certain things, and just got some things plain wrong.
My test on this book we had to read about Jesus wasn’t that bad. I actually got done somewhat fast which makes me wonder just how good I did. I hate essay tests like that. They really test what you know, and just reading and rereading what you study doesn’t always help.
Though, I don’t feel all that bad because I know I gave it my all and I’ve been studying from day one about what we’ve been learning. I would feel otherwise if I hadn’t studied or waited till last night to study it all which is what my Chem test is looking to be like. ;;;
