Campus Adventures 3
September 3, 2007
Well, I’m into week two and still going strong. Though, these weekends are pretty boring and lazy. I seem to find myself doing a lot of the things I didn’t normally do like studying a lot and reading. I’m really studying Japanese a lot, and it’s good to be in this setting where I just want to study. Hopefully, by the end of the month of mid October I’ll have grades 1-3 Kanji memorized or at least recognized. I’m putting off writing Katakana and I know this will bite me in the ass later.
In Japanese 3 I’m learning about the potential form, nara and shi. Seems to all be easy stuff. So, it’s not too bad, but studying is required.
I’ve gotten pretty used to sleeping in this bed and I suppose I’ve adjusted to the atmosphere. I still only sleep until 10am though. My roommate seems to be one of those people who likes to sleep in forever if he has nothing to do. I haven’t really talked to my roommate so I don’t really know much about him.
Tomorrow the Penn State Anime Organization(psao) meets for the first time this semester. I’ll go even though I expect possible failure, but we’re watching Read or Die so that’s awesome. Maybe I’ll meet people who actually have seen shows I watch like Higurashi, or Code Geass. Also, the state theater is showing Paprika this month. Definitely want to check that out because Satoshi Kon is win.
